Lecco Reserva
A wine that is the fruit of years of experience, a patient and serious wine.
We select vines of more than 40 years of high quality, which give us different sensations and low yields per hectare for limited annual productions.
Selection table
The day of harvest is decided after an intense work in the field and in the laboratory. It is done manually in boxes of 15 kilos and then in the winery it is passed through a selection table, to keep the best of what is already good.
Elaboration of Lecco Reserva
Total elaboration by gravity, temperature controlled fermentations and several daily tastings end with a maceration of about 21 days.
18 months in barrel.
Barrel aging takes place for at least 18 months, 80% of which is French, the rest American and at least half of all barrels are new each year. During the ageing process, the wine is racked to keep it clean, and both tastings and analyses are carried out to ensure that it evolves correctly.
